For individuals
Donate now
Find a cause that matters to you and give in under a minute — by card, bank transfer or PayPal.
Search our directory of vetted charities, pick a cause, and give with a credit or debit card, your bank account, or PayPal. Every donation is receipted immediately and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
When you donate, your name and address are passed to the receiving organisation so they can thank you and meet their own reporting duties — unless you choose to give anonymously, which you can do at checkout with a single tick.
Give to any cause
Make an instant one-off or recurring donation to a charity, program or individual campaign on our platform.
Payroll giving
RHF Give As You Earn lets you donate straight from your salary, before Federal Income Tax — so your gift costs you less and delivers more.
One receipt, one record
Give through an RHF Charity Account and every gift for the year lands on a single consolidated tax receipt.
Give As You Earn — payroll giving
With payroll giving (also called workplace giving) you provide charities with a regular, predictable income, which lets them plan and budget properly rather than lurching between appeals.
Donations are taken before tax, which means the charity receives more of your gift and it costs you less. You can give to any organisation recognised as charitable by the IRS.
How payroll giving works
Your donation is calculated after your Social Security and Medicare contributions but before Federal Income Tax is deducted. In practice, part of your gift comes out of money that would otherwise have gone to the IRS.
- Donate directly to a named charity — the money moves from your gross pay to RHF, then straight to your chosen charity.
- Or open an RHF Charity Account and manage everything yourself — regular gifts, one-off gifts and anonymous gifts, all in one place.
Our fees, stated plainly
For direct donations to charities and individuals through the payroll giving scheme we take an administration fee of 3%, capped at $10 per pay period. For donations into an RHF Charity Account we deduct a small contribution each time you top up.
Many employers choose to pay these fees on behalf of their employees — it is worth asking your HR or payroll manager.
| Cumulative payments into account | Rate | Maximum fee |
|---|---|---|
| Up to $20,000 | 3% | $900.00 |
| $20,000.01 to $120,000 | 2% | $1,010.00 |
| More than $120,000 | 1% | $2,020.00 |
Getting started
Ask your HR or payroll manager whether your company has signed up to RHF Give As You Earn and how to join. If they have not, send them our way — setting an employer up takes about a week.
Common questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, to the extent allowed by law. You will receive an immediate emailed receipt, and an annual consolidated statement if you hold an RHF Charity Account.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. Tick "Donate anonymously" at checkout and we will not pass your name or address to the receiving organisation.
Can I cancel a recurring donation?
At any time, from your account dashboard — no phone call, no retention script. Cancellation takes effect before the next scheduled payment.
